Women's
Group
The Women's Group of Youth Action for
Christ
is
spearheaded
by
Sister
Elder
Maggie
Wright,
who is
the wife
of
Pastor
Wright.
The
women's
group
meets
every
third
Saturday
of each
month at
8:00
am. The
mission
of the
Women's
Group is
to bring
women
back the
biblical
values
and
purpose
for
which
they
were
created.
To
Support
their
husbands,
encourage
each
other as
they
grow
together
into the
godly
women,
wives,
mothers
and
sisters
that
they
were
intended
to be.
Each
month
someone
from the
women's
Group
will
share a
message
or
testimony
that we
may
learn as
we all
grow
together. -
Youth
Ministry
Spearheaded by Associate Pastor Troy Lewis The Youth Ministry is probably one of the most important ministries there are
because
the
youth of
today
will be
the
leaders
of
tomorrow.
Associate
Pastor
Lewis
and his
associates
take
this
very
seriously
as they
endeavor
to
instill
within
the
youth
the ways
of he
Spirit
and the
fear of
God so
that as
they
prepare
to
embrace
adulthood
they
will do
so
prepared
for the
world
and to
to
battle
with the
enemy.
Each
month
Pastor
Lewis or
one of
the
Youth
ministries
Associates
will
post a
message
to the
youth,
food for
thought
that
will
build
them as
they
grow
into who
they are
in
Christ

A few years after the birth of Youth Action for Christ, Pastor Wright formed a group of men called the Blockbusters, named after the blockbuster bomb of WWII, which was said to carry a devastating effect. At the time the blockbusters were formed there was a gang war being fought in the streets of Long Beach and surrounding communities and The blockbusters took to the streets Following the lead of Pastor Wright, armed only with bibles, tracts, and the power of the living God, going before them.
Over the many years that they have been going into the streets dealing with the gangs there have been and continue to be many testimonies, which we will be sharing on the site.
These men go out every other Friday at 8:00 pm and any man wanting to reach out to the lost and learn how to walk in the true power of God almighty is welcome.
